LifeSize Team 220 is a cost effective yet powerful full HD video conferencing system for hosting multipoint video conferencing application. It has a built-in 1080p30 full HD MCU that is able to support multipoint video conferencing up to 4 sites in total i.e. the location with LifeSize Team 220 and 3 other sites.
LifeSize Team 220 is H.323 and SIP based. It is compatible with any H.323 and SIP video conferencing systems. Mix of H.320 ISDN endpoints together with H.323 IP and SIP endpoints are possible by using an optional external LifeSize Networker ISDN network module.
It is suitable for deployment in boardroom and meeting rooms of any size, at the headquarters or regional main office. It is a 1080p30 full HD video conferencing system and capable to producing full HD video resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 30fps video frame rate, for both point-to-point and multipoint connections.

The components of a LifeSize Team 220 are:
- a compact and sleek non PC based 1080p30 full HD H.323 & SIP codec,
- a 1080p30 wide angle pan-tilt-zoom camera (either 4x or 10x optical zoom),
- a handheld remote control unit,
- a LifeSize Phone with built-in loudspeaker and 16 microphones for superior HD quality omni-directional audio pickup or 2 desktop boundary microphone pods with mute button.
The LifeSize Phone can be used for normal telephone calls as well. In addition, users can also establish video calls by using the dial pad of the LifeSize Phone.
