The VBrick Enterprise Media System (VEMS) is a complete media management software suite that controls of your streaming media applications and enables the delivery of video and media content enterprise-wide and to the Internet.

The VBrick VEMS Video Portal provides viewers with DVD-like controls allowing them to fast forward, rewind, pause, and display videos in full screen. The VBrick VEMS system administration manages all activities of Windows Media and H.264 encoders, IP receivers, set top boxes, VOD servers and user access control. It can be used to schedule your live broadcasts, on-demand videos and recordings with push-button simplicity. In distributed environments with many streaming reflectors, the VBrick VEMS can help to avoid network bottlenecks by directing users to their local reflectors to get the streaming content. This capability makes possible delivery of many concurrent video streams (live and on-demand) to enterprise locations nationwide and worldwide.
The user manage¬ment function of the VBrick VEMS allows administrator to specify and control which users may access which LIVE video and directories of the stored videos in VOD servers. The VBrick VEMS can be integrated to a Microsoft Active Directory server or other LDAP directory services for single sign-on authentication
The transcoding feature of the VBrick VEMS enables uploaded files to the VBrick system to be transcoded into a streaming format supported by the VEMS. The video formats are supported by VBrick VEMS are H.264, Flash, Windows Media, MPEG-2 and MPEG-4.
The VBrick VEMS system administration also generates graphical usage reports.
